Prof. Enose M.W. Simatwa, PhD is the founder Dean of Faculty of Education, Tom Mboya University College. He is an alumnus of University of Nairobi, Kenyatta University and Maseno University where he earned Bachelor's degree, Master's degree and Doctor of Philosophy degree respectively. He has also served as an Administrator at Secondary and Post-secondary levels in different capacities. His focus is on teaching research and community service. The research areas include Social Sciences such as; Leadership and Policies, Management, Sociology and Psychology. He has successfully supervised to completion to date 22 Doctor of Philosophy and 86 Masters theses. He has published 122 full research papers /publications in refereed journals. He is also serving as an External and Internal examiner for PhD and Master theses in Public and Private universities. He is a founding academic staff member of Maseno University and Tom Mboya University College.

THE FACULTY OF EDUCATION


The faculty of Education is one of the faculties in Tom Mboya university College that was created in in September 2018 following the re-organization of existing Facultys to be in tandem with the University college's strategic plan. The Faculty houses three (3) Undergraduate and twelve (12) post graduate programmes. The programmes are mounted as regular, evening, weekend and holidays/recess depending on quorum in a calendar year. The faculty is responsive to the everchanging curricula in the whole education system and related undertakings in the society.
